Basic Properties
3M K520 is a transparent yellow adhesion promoter containing synthetic resin with toluene/isopropyl alcohol solvents and ~3% solids. It enhances bonding of acrylic foam tapes to polypropylene (PP) and EPDM substrates, especially in low-temperature winter conditions.
Product Description
K520 chemically modifies substrate surfaces to dramatically improve peel strength. It increases PP bond strength by 7x (4.9N/25mm→34.1N/25mm) and maintains >20N/25mm after 80°C heat/ humidity aging.
